I am always excited when I can use the rich soil we collect from the manure pile here on the farm. It is a rich blend of alpaca, goat & sheep manure, dirt and old hay…the outcome is a rich black soil.
I also put a fence up protecting our soon-to-be-sprouting grapes from the turkeys, prepped another garden space for planting kale, rotated the bantam eggs, cleaned the 6 new chicks lodgings and finished another upcycled kids apron.
☕️ In true mommy fashion. ..my day was broken up with meals, laundry, cleaning and meeting with the plumber to try to figure out why our water pressure has dropped.
